Gross Domestic Product for American Samoa

UTULEI, AMERICAN SAMOA (May 31, 2011) -- The estimates for
American Samoa show that real GDP -- GDP adjusted to remove price
changes -- decreased 4.7 percent in 2009 after decreasing 2.1
percent in 2008 (see Table 3). For comparison, real GDP for the
U.S. (excluding the territories) decreased 2.6 percent in 2009
after remaining unchanged in 2008. Full Text
